Nazaré Álvares
Nazaré Álvares introduces her artistic journey and the essence of her work. A visual artist with a consistent career since the 1990s, she has developed a distinctive visual language shaped by pop influences and a close observation of everyday imagery, particularly supermarket advertising and promotional leaflets, which served as the foundation for her early compositions. With a vibrant color palette and a spontaneous, expressionist brushstroke, Nazaré continues to maintain a strong and coherent artistic identity, where color and gestural freedom remain central elements.
