Cookie policy
This policy explains what cookies are, how they are used on the GONARTS website and how you can manage your preferences.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to work properly, remember your preferences and help us understand how it is used. We also use similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are essential for the website to work, for example to remember your chosen language, the works you have saved as favourites or your cookie preferences. They do not require consent.
Functionality cookies
These remember choices you make during your visit, such as the number of works per row in the grid, to make browsing more comfortable.
Analytics cookies
These help GONARTS understand, in aggregate, how many people visit the website and which pages are viewed most, so we can improve our content. They are only used with your consent.
Third party cookies
Some content, such as embedded videos or links to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok, may set cookies belonging to those services. These cookies are governed by the privacy policies of the respective platforms.
Duration
Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies). Others remain on your device for a set period or until they are deleted (persistent cookies).
Managing cookies
On your first visit a notice appears where you can accept all cookies, reject those that are not necessary or choose, by category, which ones you allow. Your choice is stored for 12 months, after which we will ask again. You can change it at any time through the Cookie settings link in the website footer. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Please note that disabling necessary cookies may affect how the website works.
