GONARTS was founded in Porto in 2023 on a simple idea: art takes on new meaning when it becomes part of people’s lives.
Two worlds, one idea
GONARTS began to take shape at the end of secondary school, when Gonçalo Anjos realised that his passion for art asked for more than admiration. A gap year in the Azores followed, spent thinking about the project and the future. The next year he began a degree in Hospitality Management, and the idea became clear: to bring the eye of art together with the craft of hospitality. From hospitality, GONARTS inherited attention to detail, the pleasure of welcoming people and the desire to create immersive experiences, where art is lived rather than simply observed. From art, it kept what matters most: the work always comes first.
